Why is Content such a great deal in Writing?

As writers we must really grok the notion of content and its impeccable impact on our writings. "What matters now isn't storytelling;what matters is telling a true story well" (Ann Handley), our focus should be in creating quality, relevant content that takes note of a reader's feelings and needs(intuitive psychology).

The challenge (especially in the newsroom) is the pressure to be the first to cover what's trending hence producing insipid paragraphs of nothing labeled as "news". Readers appreciate succinctly expressed content with utility, inspiration and empathy more than the regurgitated pabulum.
